The Greater Binghamton Air Show returns to Broome County next month and as a thank you to the men and women who served our country, veterans will receive special discounted tickets for this year’s show. Through its Veterans Service Agency, the County will offer a 30% discount for the Airshow’s “drive-in” format on July 17th and 18th.
“Our veterans served our country selflessly and we are always looking for ways to say ‘thank you’ for all that they’ve sacrificed,” said Broome County Executive Jason Garnar. “This discount is the least we can do and will allow more people to come watch the excitement of our Airshow.”
To obtain the discount visit https://www.gobroomecounty.com/veterans; the discount can also be redeemed by calling or emailing the Broome County Veterans Services Agency.
Headlining this year’s event performances are the USAF Thunderbirds in their F-16’s, USAF A-10 Thunderbolt demo and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute team. The full performer lineup can be found at www.binghamtonairshow.com. Gates will open at 9:30 a.m. with jam-packed, exciting performances from noon until 4 p.m.
