BINGHAMTON, NY - On Saturday, September 16, 2006, the Broome-Tioga Public Auction will be held at the Broome County Highway Department, Thomas Street, Chenango Bridge, New York, for the sale of used, surplus and not needed supplies, materials, and equipment, including cars, trucks, heavy equipment, bicycles, typewriters, computers, etc., from Broome County Government, Tioga County Government and participating political subdivisions and school districts. All items will be sold in an as is - where is condition with all faults, with no express or implied warranties. All items sold are to be removed immediately after the auction. The auctioneer will release titles to vehicles when the buyer's check has cleared. Photo identification must be provided, upon request to the auctioneer for those wishing to register as bidders.

Public inspection of auction items and the registration of bidders will begin at 8:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 16, 2006. The vehicle and equipment portion of the Auction will start at 10:00 A.M. The non-vehicle portion of the Auction for bicycles, office supplies and miscellaneous items will begin at approximately 11:00 A.M.
