Broome County Health Department Issues Public Health Statements October 27

(BROOME COUNTY, NY) The Broome County Health Department has learned a person who was at Applebee’s Grill + Bar, located at 3701 Vestal Pkwy in Vestal, on October 17th has tested positive for COVID-19. 

If were you at that location on October 17th between 4:00 p.m. and close, we ask you to self-quarantine until November 1st. 

The Broome County Health Department has also learned a person who was on B.C. Transit Bus Route 53 Corporate Park and Route 3 Park Avenue on October 22nd has tested positive for COVID-19. 

If you were on Route 53 between 6:30 a.m. and 9:10 a.m. or Route 3 between 1:50 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on October 22nd we ask you to self-quarantine until November 6th. 

You should self-quarantine if you were at location during that dates/time for 10 or more minutes. Contact your healthcare provider if you develop symptoms.

Broome County officials remind you to wash your hands, wear your facial coverings and continue to maintain social distancing. If you feel sick and do not need immediate assistance, please contact your healthcare provider via phone or virtual health with questions prior to heading to the emergency room.
