Broome County Health Department Issues Public Health Statements October 12

(BROOME COUNTY, NY) The Broome County Health Department has learned a person who was at Strange Brew Café, located at 137 Washington Street in Binghamton, on October 2nd through 6th and October 8th and 9th has tested positive for COVID-19. 

If you were at that location on October 2nd or 3rd between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., October 4th between 6:45 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., October 5th, October 6th, October 8th or October 9th between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. we ask you to self-quarantine until 14 days after your respective exposure date. Contact your healthcare provider if you develop symptoms.  

The Broome County Health Department has also learned that a person who was at Panera Bread, located at 3700 Vestal Parkway East in Vestal, on October 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 8th has tested positive for COVID-19. 

If you were at that location on October 2nd between 3:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m., October 3rd between 3:00 p.m. and 9:20 p.m., October 5th between 3:00 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. or October 6th between 3:00 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., October 8th between 3:00 p.m. and 9 p.m. we ask you to self-quarantine until 14 days after your exposure date. 

The Broome County Health Department has also learned a person who was at Chili’s Bar and Grill, located at 2553 Vestal Pkwy in Vestal, on October 2nd and October 3rd has tested positive for COVID-19. 

If you were at that location on October 2nd between 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or October 3rd between 10:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. we ask you to self-quarantine until 14 days after your exposure date.

Broome County officials remind you to wash your hands, wear your facial coverings and continue to maintain social distancing.
