Did you have a positive COVID-19 home test? Or maybe you tested positive at a pharmacy and need paperwork for work or school?

You can report your positive test to us using our COVID-19 Self-Report Tool. This online tool will walk you through how long you should stay home and will provide the paperwork you need for work or school.

If you are sick with COVID-19, you should notify anyone that you were within 6 feet of for 15 minutes or more during the 2 days before you became sick, with or without a mask. Read more from the CDC about when and how to isolate.

Free at-home COVID-19 test kits are available at Broome County Health Department! We are located at 225 Front Street Binghamton, NY. Simply walk in our front door and grab some from the front desk.

Expiration dates for some at-home COVID-19 tests have been extended. Click here to learn if your tests are safe to use.

Broome County Health Department offers COVID-19 vaccines by appointment only during our Thursday immunization clinics for people without insurance. COVID-19 vaccines are also widely available at pharmacies and some healthcare providers’ offices. Visit www.vaccines.gov to find a vaccine near you.

The updated monovalent COVID-19 vaccine is made to protect you from the latest strain of COVID that is circulating in the United States. If you have already had the original COVID-19 vaccine or a bivalent dose, you can get one of the new monovalent shots! You should wait at least 8 weeks after your last COVID-19 vaccine before getting the updated monovalent vaccine.

If you have COVID-19, there are medications that can prevent you from getting seriously sick. These treatments require a prescription. Talk to your healthcare provider to see what is right for you.
