*   BASIC EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN ORIGINAL COURSE: Begins Monday 1/29/2024. Meets Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 7:50 AM until 11:50 AM and several Saturdays 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Concludes 5/16/2024.  Location: SUNY Broome Community College, Business Building BB030. Instructor/Coordinator:  Gary Bullock, EMT, CIC.


*   BASIC EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN ORIGINAL COURSE: Begins Tuesday 1/30/2024. Meets Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30 PM until 10:30 PM and several Saturdays 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Concludes 5/16/2024.  Location: SUNY Broome Community College, Business Building BB030 Instructor/Coordinator: Liz Mednansky, EMT, CIC.


*   BASIC EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN ORIGINAL COURSE: Begins Wednesday 1/17/24. Meets Monday & Wednesdays 6:30 PM until 10:30 PM and several Saturdays 9:00 AM 5:00 PM. Concludes 5/16/2024.  Location: Binghamton University, Science Library, Room 306, 310, 302. Instructor/Coordinator: Laura Kotsubka, EMT-CC, CIC.


BASIC EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN REFRESHER AND CERTIFIED FIRST RESPONDER REFRESHER COURSE: Begins Sunday 2/11/2024 (Skills Challenge Pre-testing - Contact the EMS Office to Arrange to Take Written Challenge Exam individually between 1/29/2024 and 2/8/2024). Meets Saturday & Sunday 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Concludes 5/16/2024. Location: Broome County Public Safety Facility. Instructor/Coordinator: Laura Kotsubka, EMT-CC, CIC.

Application deadline is the start date of the course, as long as space remains. Applications should be submitted as soon as possible to maximize your likelihood of enrollment in the desired course.

Most courses are fully state-funded (tuition-free) for those with current, active volunteer or paid affiliations with organizations having NYS EMS agency codes. Consult our Tuition and Fee Policy for details.
