BINGHAMTON, NY - The Broome County Department of Public Works announced today that a portion of Powderhouse Road, in the Town of Vestal will be closed to all traffic for a culvert replacement project beginning Monday, August 30th at 7:00 a.m. It is anticipated that the road will reopen on Tuesday, September 7th at 3:30 p.m. Local traffic may continue to use Powderhouse Road except during the time noted.

The culvert is located approximately 0.25 miles west of the Horan Road intersection with Powderhouse Road. A detour will be signed utilizing Gardner Road. For additional information please contact the Broome County Department of Public Works at 607.778.2909.
