Broome County Kicks Off 2019 Road Construction Season

(TOWN OF COLESVILLE, NY) Broome County Executive Jason Garnar and Deputy Commissioner of Public Works-Highway Division Susan Brown announced today plans for seasonal road construction in Broome County.

The County Executive made the announcement on Colesville Road in the Town of Colesville. During the week of June 5, 2019, Colesville Road is being paved.

More than 20 miles of roadway throughout County are scheduled to be repaired this year. This includes paving, crack sealing and drainage replacement. The County will also complete mowing, ditching, grader patching and pot hole repair though out the County roadway system in the County Right of Way.

Again, this year, the County Executive wants the public to be informed on upcoming projects during the season. Each Friday, the upcoming week’s schedule of roadway projects will be released online at www.GoBroomeCounty.com.
