State of Emergency Remains in Broome County. NYSEG Sets Up Dry Ice/Bottled Water Distribution Locations

NYSEG Offering Dry Ice to Customers Without Power

BINGHAMTON, NYThe State of Emergency in Broome County remains in effect.

This is not a travel ban. In general, use extreme caution with travel, anticipate downed power lines and storm debris across or on roadways.

New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) has established 4 distribution sites for dry ice and bottled water for customers without power in Broome County.

The sites and the hours are:

Vestal Fire Station #4, 3341 Vestal Parkway East in Vestal on Tuesday, May 2 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Wednesday, May 3 from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M.

Chenango Fire Department #2, 1045 Castle Creek Rd, Castle Creek on Tuesday May 2 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Wednesday, May 3 from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M.

Windsor Fire Department, 4 Academy St, Windsor on Tuesday, May 2 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Wednesday, May 3 from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M.

Campville Fire Department, 6153 NY Route 17 C, Endicott on Tuesday, May 2 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Wednesday, May 3 from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M.

Supplies are distributed on a first come, first serve basis while they last.
