Dan was selected by his peers to serve as the Chairman of the Legislature in 2009. He has stated that the following issues are among his top priorities: (1) promoting economic revitalization, (2) taking action to retain and attract young workers to Broome County, (3) assuring financial accountability, (4) moving forward with consolidation of government services, and (5) addressing countywide sewage treatment solutions.

Mr. Reynolds has been a practicing attorney in Binghamton and is a partner with Shaw, O'Brien and Crowley. Dan is a graduate of Seton Catholic Central High School, Binghamton University, and Albany Law School. He is a board member of the New York State Citizen Education Committee, past Director of the Broome County Bar Association, and member of the All Wars Memorial Committee.

Dan and his wife, Nancy, have four children and they reside in the Town of Vestal.
