* BASIC EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN ORIGINAL COURSE: Begins Monday 6/6/2022. Meets Mondays and Wednesdays 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM, Fridays 8:00 AM until 12:00 Noon, and one Saturday (8/6/22) 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Location: SUNY Broome Community College, Old Science Building Room, 207. Instructor/ Coordinator: Gary Bullock, EMT, CIC.
* BASIC EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN REFRESHER COURSE: Begins with Skills Challenge Pre-Testing on Sunday 5/1/2022 8:00 AM (at Broome County Public Safety Facility) - Contact the EMS Office to Arrange to Take Written Challenge Exam individually before 5/19/2022. Continues on Monday 6/6/2022, beginning at 8:00 AM. Meets Mondays and Wednesdays 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM, Fridays 8:00 AM until 12:00 Noon, and one Saturday (8/6/22) 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Location: SUNY Broome Community College, Old Science Building Room, 207. Instructor/ Coordinator: Gary Bullock, EMT, CIC.
Application deadline is the start date of the course, as long as space remains. Applications should be submitted as soon as possible to ensure enrollment in the desired course.
Most courses are fully state-funded (tuition-free) for those with current, active volunteer or paid affiliations with organizations having NYS EMS agency codes. Consult our Tuition and Fee Policy for details.
- Basic CME Recertification Core Course meets on the 1st Wednesday every month from 6:00-10:30pm via Zoom online meetings.
- Advanced Levels CME Recertification Program meets on the 4th Tuesday (except where otherwise indicated on the schedule in BOLD TYPE) of every month from 6:30-10:30pm via Zoom online meetings.
