First Friday Open House at the Forum

(BINGHAMTON, NY) Broome County Executive Barbara J. Fiala welcomes the community to visit the Forum Theater during First Friday on October 2nd from 6:00pm to 9:00pm as part of the celebration of Rod Serling and the 50th Anniversary of the “Twilight Zone”. On stage the Twilight Zone episode “WHERE IS EVERYBODY” which first aired on CBS Television on October 2, 1959 will be shown along with “The Twilight Tour”: A multi-dimensional, video presentation that will bridge the gap between the reality and fantasy of the Twilight Zone through a virtual journey of Rod Serling's life.   This event is free and open to the public.

A commemorative US Postal Service cancellation of their Rod Serling stamp will be available for purchase and the Rod Serling Sculpture by the late artist Richard Stiles will be unveiled. Light refreshments will be served on the stage overlooking the theater compliments of Food Consultants Inc.
Members of the Friends of the Forum will be on hand to promote the “Take Your Seat” campaign to help replace seating within the historic theater and the Mamma! Mia Gala on December 11th.  For more information about the Friends visit or the Forum, visit:
