(BINGHAMTON, NY) Beginning Tuesday, May 26^th (the first day after Memorial Day) Broome County will begin summer hours.  During summer hours the Edwin L. Crawford County Office Building County Office Building located at 60 Hawley St. will open and welcome the public beginning at 7:30am and will close to the public at 4pm.  Summer hours will end after Labor Day on September 7^th. The summer hours were implemented in 2001 as a way to reduce energy costs.
