Broome County Hosting Veterans Forum & Luncheon on April 2

Broome County Executive Jason Garnar is hosting a forum and luncheon for Veterans in Broome County this April.

The event will be held on April 2nd from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County in the Market NY Building.

This is an opportunity for veterans to learn more about the new Veterans Facility Project in the Town of Binghamton. Broome County is in the process of purchasing the former Vestal Hills Country Club on Webb Road in the Town of Binghamton and creating a one-stop shop complex for Veterans’ services and programs. The facility would house Broome County’s Veterans Services Agency, Southern Tier Veterans Support Group, and Clear Path for Veterans.

At this event Veterans will be able to provide input on programs and services they would like to see at the facility. The event is free and open to all Veterans in Broome County.
